The Ultimate "CHEAT" Meal ... Pizza!!! -- Keto Approved!

I feel like I need to preface this post! Guess what guys, I AM NOT PERFECT! 

And here lately, I've been craving pizza! Which is super weird for me because with my gluten sensitivities, I rarely crave it ... mostly because it makes me feel SO AWFUL!! Thankfully, a few weeks back, we went to a friend's house who is also on this keto WOE and she made the BEST keto-friendly pizza!

Tonight I made it for myself and sure enough, it was as heavenly as I remembered! I seriously think it's even BETTER than the "real deal!"



You will need:

1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
3/4 cup of almond flour
2 tbsp of cream cheese
1 egg
seasonings of preference



First, preheat your oven to 425. 
Next add your mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to microwave safe bowl. I cubed the cream cheese first so it melted easier!



Microwave for 1 minute. Then stir!
Then back into the microwave for another 30 seconds (or until melted) ... mine took about an additional minute. 
Don't burn yourself! The bowl may be hot!


Add in the egg and almond flour. Mix well! 

Lay parchment paper on your cookie sheet. Wet your hands and spread the dough evenly on the parchment paper. This gets messy!! But it's SO worth it!



Once your dough is evenly spread, add your seasonings on top! I used garlic powder, FlavorGod Pizza seasoning and Fennel! 

Bake at 425 for 13 minutes or until slightly brown on top. Watch for any bubbling and if it occurs, just poke holes with a fork in the bubbles.



Top with your favorite sauce. Look for little to no sugar. I found this at Giant Eagle! Then top with your favorite fixings! We are kind of boring and just added mozzarella cheese! 



Finally, pop the pizza back in for a few extra minutes so your cheese melts! Be careful not to let it burn or you'll be sorry!
